1. About this policy
Family Health Centers ("we," "us" or "our") explains here how information is handled through familyhealthcenters.net and its staff content dashboard. This policy applies to the website. It does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how patient health information is used and disclosed in connection with care. Please contact your clinic for that notice or for questions about your medical records.
2. Information handled by the website
Public visitors. You do not need an account to read our public pages. The public website does not provide forms for submitting symptoms, medical records, appointment requests or payments. Please call your clinic to arrange care. Do not send sensitive health information through an ordinary website or social-media message.
Technical information. When you visit, the hosting and supporting services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, referring page, and time of the request. This information supports delivery, troubleshooting and protection of the website.
Authorized staff. The staff dashboard processes account information such as staff email addresses and access roles, sign-in and session information, and content changes made by staff. Our authentication service handles account credentials. Content intentionally published by authorized staff, such as provider biographies and clinic hours, becomes visible to website visitors. The dashboard is for website content, not patient records.
3. Browser storage and outside services
The hosting service uses necessary cookies and similar browser storage to help deliver and protect the website. Hosting security cookies remain in use while visitor analytics is disabled. Public pages use temporary storage in your browser tab to remember page scroll position. The staff dashboard uses browser storage to maintain an authorized staff member’s signed-in session. You can manage cookies and clear browser storage through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or affect website operation.
The website serves its fonts with its own website files, so loading those fonts does not require your browser to contact Google Fonts.
Maps and social-media destinations are ordinary links, not embedded maps or feeds. If you follow a link to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram or another external service, that service’s privacy practices apply to your visit there.
4. Analytics and advertising
Visitor analytics is currently disabled. The website does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, retargeting tools or embedded social tracking tools. Necessary hosting and security processing continues, including technical logs used to deliver, troubleshoot and protect the website. These services may receive your IP address, requested page address, referring page, browser and device details, request time, and performance or error information. Please do not put sensitive health information in website addresses or messages. The site does not change its technical operation in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. We will review and update this policy before introducing materially different data collection or tracking.
5. How information is used and disclosed
Website-related information is used to operate and protect the website, maintain staff access, publish approved content, investigate errors or misuse, and respond to website privacy questions. Providers that supply hosting, content storage, authentication, technical support and fonts may process information to deliver those services.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address security incidents, protect rights and safety, or respond to lawful requests. External services reached through links operate under their own policies.
6. Retention and safeguards
Website technical records and staff account information may be retained for website operation, security, support and applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and the relevant service provider’s settings and requirements. Website content may remain in edit history or backups after it is changed or removed from public view.
Access controls are used to limit the staff dashboard to authorized users. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid submitting health information, financial details or other sensitive information through channels that your clinic has not designated for that purpose.
7. Your questions and choices
You can visit the public website without a staff account, choose whether to follow external links, and manage browser storage through your browser settings. To ask about website information associated with you, or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the information involved before responding. Requests may be subject to applicable legal requirements and permitted exceptions.
For medical-record requests and patient privacy rights, contact your clinic. These requests are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law, rather than through the website content dashboard.
8. Children
The public website provides general information about services, including care for children, but does not offer children a way to create a public account or submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a website-related channel, please contact us so that we can review the situation.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its effective date when our website practices change. For material changes, we will provide an additional website notice or other notice as appropriate or required by law. Please review the current policy when using a new website feature.
